Arya is popularly known as ‘Kollywood’s Playboy’. Before being an actor, he worked as a software engineer. The director/cinematographer Jeeva called him for the audition for his film ‘Ullam Ketkumaein’ (2003). It was Jeeva, who gave him the stage name ‘Arya’. Here is the list of Hindi dubbed movies of Arya.

1. ‘Vattaram’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Are You Ready To Fight’

Vattaram (2006) is a Tamil gangster film written and directed by Saran. The film stars Arya, Napoleon, Kirat Bhattal, Vasundhara, Adithya Menon and Ramesh Khanna. It performed average at the box office and dubbed in Hindi as ‘Are You Ready To Fight’.

Plot: Burma joins Gurupaadham’s gang and becomes an important henchman. His daughter falls for Burma, but he is now tinged with revenge since his father was kicked out of Gurupaadham’s gang.

2. ‘Naan Kadavul’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Pandav — The Punch’

Naan Kadavul (2009) is an Indian Tamil-language art film co-written and directed by Bala. The film features Arya and Pooja in the lead roles. It was a hit film and dubbed in Hindi as ‘Pandav — The Punch’.

Plot: After listening to the Aghory Sadhus, a father leaves his son in Kasi. Later realizing his wrong doing, he tries to get him back to city life, but it’s too late.

3. ‘Sarvam’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Wardaat – The Revenge’

Sarvam (2009) is an Indian Tamil romantic thriller film co written and directed by Vishnuvardhan. It stars Arya and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles, while J. D. Chakravarthy, Prathap Pothan, and Indrajith play other prominent supporting roles. The film performed average at the box-office and dubbed in Hindi as ‘Wardaat – The Revenge’.

Plot: Karthik, a civil engineer falls deeply in love with Sandhya, a child pediatrician. Eeshwar has vowed to kill Naushad’s son in order to take revenge for killing his wife and son in a road accident.

4. ‘Urumi’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Ek Yodha Shoorveer’

Urumi (2011) is an epic Indian historical drama film directed by Santosh Sivan. It stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Prabhu Deva, Genelia D’Souza, Amol Gupte, Jagathy Sreekumar, Nithya Menon, and Alexx O’Nell in lead roles and features Tabu, Arya and Vidya Balan in extended cameos. The movie broke several records and was the biggest hit of that time. It was dubbed in Hindi as ‘Ek Yodha Shoorveer’.

Plot: Kelu is a warrior in 16th century Kerala whose father was killed by Vasco da Gama and his troops. Kelu vows to avenge his father’s death with the assistance of Vavvali and Ayesha, a warrior princess.

5. ‘Irandaam Ulagam’ dubbed in Hindi as ‘Irandaam Ulagam’

Irandaam Ulagam (2013) is an Indian Tamil-language romantic fantasy film written and directed by Selvaraghavan. Starring Arya and Anushka Shetty. The film was above average and dubbed in Hindi with the same name ‘Irandaam Ulagam’.

Plot: Madhu and Ramya are lovers. After the tragic death of Ramya, Madhu attempts suicide, but he lands on an exoplanet accidentally, where he meets Varna, a lookalike of Ramya. What will happen next?
