On 2 March 2018, during the Taj Mahotsava event in Uttar Pradesh, the Uttar Pradesh Police filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Palash Muchhal for allegedly misbehaving with a member of the organizing committee. The complaint was lodged by Sudhir Narain, who claimed that during a performance by Palak Muchhal on 27 February 2018, Palash got into a heated argument with him. Palash accused the committee of mistreating his mother, and according to Sudhir Narain, he was allegedly slapped and threatened during the incident.   • Palash Muchhal is an Indian director, music composer, and film score composer who predominantly works in the Hindi film industry. He is reportedly in a relationship with the Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana.
  • Before venturing into films, he appeared in a handful of advertisement commercials. Later, the Indian director, Ashutosh Gowariker, noticed Palash and cast him in his next project. Gowariker was reportedly captivated by the composer’s curly hair. Palash made his acting debut in the Indian Hindi-language historical action-adventure film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker titled Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. The film, with Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, was released on 3 December 2010. Palash played the character of Subodh Roy.
  • During an interview about his career, he shared that his interest in music started at the tender age of four.
