• Palash Muchhal is an Indian director, music composer, and film score composer who predominantly works in the Hindi film industry. He is reportedly in a relationship with the Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana.

• Before venturing into films, he appeared in a handful of advertisement commercials. Later, the Indian director, Ashutosh Gowariker, noticed Palash and cast him in his next project. Gowariker was reportedly captivated by the composer’s curly hair. Palash made his acting debut in the Indian Hindi-language historical action-adventure film directed by Ashutosh Gowariker titled Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. The film, with Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles, was released on 3 December 2010. Palash played the character of Subodh Roy.

• During an interview about his career, he shared that his interest in music started at the tender age of four. He added that once his sister, Palak Muchhal, who is a singer, performed in London and brought back gifts and chocolates for him. He mentioned working with singers like Arijit Singh, Mika Singh, and Javed Ali, who treated him respectfully during song recording sessions, addressing him as ‘Sir.’ However, he also shared that some people initially dismissed him due to his age. Nevertheless, he managed to prove himself through his impressive work, and eventually, many of them signed him up for their projects.

• He composed music for several movies like Bhoothnath Returns (2014), Dishkiyaoon (2014), and Amit Sahni Ki List (2014). Some of his famous songs include “Party Toh Banti Hai” from Bhoothnath Returns, “Tu hi hai Aashiqui” from Dishkiyaoon, and “What The Fark” from Amit Sahni Ki List. In 2017, he composed the music for a video called “Tu Jo Kahe,” featuring Parth Samthaan and Anmol Malik. Then, in 2018, he worked on the music for two more videos: “Nishaa,” starring Parth Samthaan and Charlie Chauhan, and “Fans nahi Friends,” which featured Parth Samthaan, Niti Taylor, and Varun Sharma.
