S. Keerthana has completed her school education from a Tamil medium government school in Tamil Nadu.

In July 2018, she started working as a Gandhi Fellow at Piramal Foundation in Thane, Maharashtra. She served in the position till May 2020.

In October 2021, S. Keerthana worked as a Consulting Project Manager in American India Foundation in Delhi, India.

In a media talk, she claimed that she always wanted to pursue politics as a career. She said,

I have always imagined myself to be in politics, which is the reason I chose a career as a political strategist.”

I worked with different leaders and understood how the system works and how the bureaucracy functions.”

She has worked with popular leaders such as M. K. Stalin, Mamata Banerjee, and Chandrababu Naidu.

Language gave me so many opportunities to work in different states.”

She then explained why she chose TVK to start her career in politics. She said,

TVK is a place where everyone has access. Even if I don’t have a political or money background, I’m there. If you have an intention to do something for the people, you are welcome.”
