Later, when she was hospitalized, Avinash was the only friend who visited her and took care of her. This experience led her to accept his proposal. After dating for about five years, the couple decided to get married. However, her parents were against their marriage due to Avinash’s lack of a stable job and being eight years younger than her. When her parents created a profile of her on a matrimonial site, she went against their wishes and got engaged to Avinash on 13 February 2016. She revealed that she had been undergoing IVF treatment for several years, but all her attempts had been unsuccessful. In her vlog, she said,
  

  We did try for surrogacy but failed. We never talked about it as we did not find it relevant. Now trying surrogacy is not possible because it is banned and illegal. I was surprised when people wrote this to me to try and they did not know this.”
