  • In an interview, he disclosed that after he finished his school education in Meerut, his parents decided to send him to Prayagraj to prepare for the IAS exam.   • After making his Bollywood debut with the 1991 film ‘Prahaar,’ the actor acted in the film ‘Yalgaar’ in 1992. He played the role of Jaychand in the film.
  • In 1998, he appeared as Sr. Inspector Yadav in the film ‘Zakhm,’ starring Ajay Devgn.
  • He essayed the role of Head Police inspector in the film ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’ in 2000.

  • He appeared in all three seasons of the Sushmita Sen starrer web series ‘Aarya’ (2020-2024), which streamed on Disney+ Hotstar. He played the role of Sampat in the web series.
  • While filming an action scene in the middle of the sea for the film ‘No Problem’ in 2010, Pradhan was encountered a fire accident. Initially, the crew members mistook it for part of the scene, but later they realized it was an accident. The actor ended up with several burns on his leg because of the fire.
  • The actor encountered another accident during the shooting of the climax scene of the film ‘Rakta Charitra.’ In the scene, he was scripted to be shot dead, but an explosion occurred unexpectedly.
