- Ajay Alok is an Indian politician who is famous for his role as the spokesperson of JDU and BJP. He is often seen in political debates on Hindi and English News Channels.
- He spent his childhood in Patna, Bihar and was interested in the field of medicine since childhood.
- After graduating from Maharashtra in 1997, he worked as a doctor in Delhi and later in other countries before returning to Patna, Bihar in 1999. He later became a government doctor after clearing the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) examination.
- In 2000, he founded the Indira Gopal Institute of Medical Services (IGIMS), and in 2013, he opened the Udayan Hospital in Patna, Bihar.
- Although he was active in student politics, he had no plans to enter electoral politics until 2003; however, when he and his father were given a death threat by a local gangster Bindu Singh who demanded Rs 25 lakh ransom from them, he approached the local gangster turned politician Suraj Bhan Singh who suggested him to join politics to fight the politics crime syndicate, and he decided to join politics.

- In March 2012, he joined Nitish Kumar‘s party, Janata Dal-United (JDU) as its spokesperson and General Secretary and became one of its most popular leaders all over India. He often spoke about different political issues in TV debates with clarity.
- He lodged an FIR for theft at his house on 19 February 2013 and stated that jewellery worth Rs 50 lakhs, Rs 12 lakhs cash, six passports, and six bank locker keys were stolen.
