- He was raised in London, England.
- His parents moved from Kolkata to London and have lived there for over 60 years.
- He grew up speaking Hindi and Urdu at home and English when he was outside.
- Growing up, he watched Bollywood films on VHS every Sunday with his parents.
- He started his first business when he was 12 years old after being motivated by his father to become self-employed.
- For his first business, he would buy pens from a wholesale market, design them with superhero characters such as Superman and Spiderman and sell them to his friends at school.
- He failed thrice in the English and Mathematics examinations due to his fear of examinations which resulted in him freezing and forgetting everything he had studied.

When he was 19, he started working as a salesman in his brother’s water filter company and continued working till he was 21.
- While working at one of his brother’s companies in Mumbai, he met Sara Arfeen Khan and interviewed her for a position at the company.
- In December 1991, he started working as a peak performance coach and founded the ‘Incredible You’ coaching system.
- He has set up his offices in Dubai, the United Kingdom, and India. He has trained over 150 corporations and 600,000 people in over 47 countries.
