• Since childhood, he was interested in acting. While studying in 9th standard, he started a theatre called “Sampreshan” in Katani, Madhya Pradesh in 1987. After 9th standard, he decided to make a career in acting.

• In 1994, after receiving an MA degree in Sanskrit, he learned acting for two years at Rang Vidushak Drama Theatre in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

• Later, he moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting, where he started doing odd jobs.
