  • Rajat Sain is an Indian documentarian, filmmaker, and journalist who has made many short films and documentaries. He went viral after he married Saloni Gaur, a renowned impressionist and standup comedian.
  • His father wanted him to become an engineer and got him enrolled in the non-medical stream with Maths, Physics, and Chemistry subjects in 11th and 12th standards. He also received tuition at Crescendo Institute, Sector-46, Chandigarh for engineering entrance examinations; however, he wanted to become a filmmaker.

  • In February 2011, he started his journalistic journey by working as a campus reporter at Panjab University for the noted newspaper Dainik Bhaskar till March 2013. He worked as a special programmer for the Chandigarh office of ABP Network from July 2013 to September 2014.  He worked as a production specialist at Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited (IFFCO), New Delhi from October 2014 to December 2015.

  • He started working as a production head at the news and entertainment portal The Lallantop in January 2016. He has also reported on many state elections and done interviews with many politicians such as Bhagwant Mann, Randeep Surjewala, and Dushyant Chautala.
