- Trisha Krishnan grew up in Chennai. She spent a few years of her childhood in New York as her father was posted there.
- While in school, she was good at mathematics and computer science.
- She used to be a bully in her school and most of the girls in her school used to be scared of her.
- In her teens, she used to enjoy watching heavyweight boxing and ballet dance on TV. She got inclined towards ballet dancing and for almost seven years, she did her training in ballet.
- During her college days, she started participating in various modelling competitions.
- In 1999, she won the Miss Salem beauty pageant and then won another beauty pageant ‘Miss Chennai.’
- She then received an offer to appear in the 2000 Hindi music video “Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye.”
- In 2001, she won the ‘Beautiful Smile’ sub-title in the Miss India pageant.
