• Utkarsh Sharma is an Indian actor who gained recognition for his role as Charanjeet Singh “Jeete” in the film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ (2001).

• He belongs to a family of directors and producers.

• In an interview, Utkarsh discussed his chance to act in the 2001 film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.’ He said that the film’s director, his father, faced difficulties finding a child actor due to scheduling conflicts and the demanding locations for shooting. These challenges made many parents reluctant to let their children be part of the film; however, Utkarsh’s mother suggested that he could fill the role, and as a result, Utkarsh was cast as Charanjeet Singh (Jeete), marking his debut in Bollywood.

• While pursuing his studies at Chapman University in the United States, he contributed to two short films. He worked as the director, producer, and writer for ‘Purpose’ (2015), and took on the role of writer for ‘Still Life’ (2016).
