Controversies	• Allegations of copying a dress: Apparently, the Surily G dress worn by Preity Zinta at the designer's Lakme Fashion Week in 2006 was quite similar to the one made by the American designer Megan Odabash. In her justification, Goel said that she had designed the dress in October - around the same time as Odabash's, which kept copying out of the question.
